Surprise Wedding Proposal - CA to ATX

At Hermanas Events LLC, every love story is unique and special, and we strive to create unforgettable moments for our clients. When we received the request to help plan a wedding proposal picnic for Alexa, we were thrilled to take on the challenge, even though she was in California and we were in Austin.

With Memorial Day approaching, we wanted to make sure this surprise would be truly beautiful and intimate.
Our journey began with a brainstorming session, where we discussed various ideas and concepts to make the proposal picnic perfect. We wanted to create an experience that would capture the essence of Alexa and her partner's relationship while incorporating elements that symbolized their love.

First, it was time to focus on the details. She wanted every aspect of the picnic to be thoughtful and personalized. We contacted a local baker to create tasty cupcakes to look like her birthstone, arranged for a charcuterie box filled with delectable gourmet treats, designed a breathtaking floral arrangement for the backdrop using Alexa's favorite colors and to top it off created an ambiance of enchantment, by stringing the “will you marry me” sign in the picnic area. The extra special touch was, Alexa asked that we pick up a few items for her son and for them to be wrapped and ready to go as it was important that everyone felt like they were apart of this special moment.

Next, We looked for a location in the Austin area suitable for an intimate picnic. secured a location and began putting the logistics in place.

Soft music played in the background, setting the mood for a romantic and unforgettable moment.

Finally, after everything was set in place we with hid in a corner to discretely capture every emotion, every tear of joy, and the moment when Alexa said, "Yes!" These precious snapshots would serve as lifelong reminders of this beautiful milestone in their relationship.
